A Candle Love Affair

Candle Joy

Nothing makes me happier than a decorative tabletop and festive tables are by far the most fun to create! Although I don’t cook the Christmas dinner, I’ll still spend a lot of time figuring out how to ready my house and any table that I can decorate, I will, involving lots of candles!!

This year, to create a festive feel, I’ll be using lots of the Ceramics from our online shop, beautiful linens (new drop of Linens arriving to Gulp Loves this week!), amazing glassware (new drop to Gulp Loves this week, watch this space!) and of course our create your own decorations!

However the finishing touches to any tabletop is always fresh flowers and candles, which is the topic of today’s blog!

I am candle obsessed, I love a mix of colours, shapes and sizes on any table! You can jazz up any table, coffee table, mantlepiece, downstairs loo or guest bedroom with some fabulous candles.

It is true that you can find candles in any colour imaginable!

On our wedding table (the image in the header of this blog), I used these twisted swirl candles, scattered amongst taper candles which added a lot of impact and fun! I’ll be recreating this look at home for Christmas with more of a festive feel & colour scheme and I’m delighted to share that we are launching a new candle brand, this WEEK! Watch this space! Gorgeous, luxurious twisted, swirl and taper candles, I can’t WAIT!

This year, from Gulp Loves, along with our new taper candles that will go on my dining table, I plan to use our Christmas Festive Wishes candles on my mantlepiece, you can shop these here and they are such a crowd pleaser! Scattered throughout the house, I shall use these Cream twisted and swirl candles ~ both almost too pretty to light!

In my downstairs loo, and for any guests that stay overnight, I will scatter our gorgeous shell candles and bubble candles throughout!

Who knew one could write a whole journal page on their love of candles!

Watch this space for our THREE new product launches coming in the next week!
